    I would like to address You all in this unusual way, but I am sure You will understand me. In Ancient Rome once there was a Temple of Mars, i.e. a War Temple. Its doors were shut down only when no war was waged across the empire. That happened only twice in the long history of Ancient Rome. This is the reason why I am addressing You with the hope that we will close the doors of Mars's Temple once and for good. Let us wide open the doors of the Temple of Hummanity. Let us forget the conflicts and the intrigues of the profanes' world. Let us fill our Temple with brotherly love and tolerance, inspired by Wisdom and Beauty, so significant to theFreemasonry.
